Wrapped represents an early exploration into my work with small sculptural forms resisting constraint. The hide/reveal is evident here but in this series opaque pure-white skins teasingly suggest meticulously crafted and hauntingly familiar forms beneath. The concept of value is twisted, as laboriously created beauty lives thoroughly below, yet is only suggested in the bulging surface and only visible intermittently.
