The series Hung is essentially a materials exploration in search of a visual and textural language for the concept of release. It was through this series that I started questioning typical beauty constructs related to the human body and its fluids. Quite telling is the fact that viewers typically have a love/hate relationship with this work, just as many humans have with their bodies, particularly related to sex organs.
